Lifocity is a brand that specializes in CBD-based nutritional products. It’s one of the newer MLM companies, however, the profits earned by its members are quite low that it’s debatable whether the program is worth the time.

One of the biggest challenges of the health and wellness market is that it’s far too crowded, and customers can easily purchase cheaper alternatives, which are often better quality. CBD is controversial because it’s derived from Cannabis, therefore, it’s harder to convince customers about the health advantages.

Lifocity Explained

Lifocity is one of the latest additions to the multi-level marketing (MLM) market. It promotes a range of nutritional products and CBD-based supplements with many health benefits.

The company was established by Sheila and Doug Braun and the business is based in Texas, US. Sheila is the Chief Experience Officer and Doug is the CEO.

Doug is no stranger to the MLM industry. Between 2011 and 2018 he worked as the Chief Marketing Officer for an MLM company based in Utah named Usana Health Sciences, Inc. We are not sure why he stopped working for the company, but it’s most likely that he did this to branch out on his own.

The registered address shown on Lifocity’s website is identical to a company named LaCore Enterprises, owned by Terry LaCore. It could be that Lifocity is a subsidiary of LaCore or that both companies are partnered, but we can’t verify this.

CBD Background

If you’re new to CBD products, I’ll give you a bit of background. CBD stands for Cannabinoid and it’s taken from Marijuana (Cannabis). To make a long story short, Cannabis has 2 main components i.e. CBD and THC. CBD contains the health elements, whereas, THC contains the psychoactive elements (the stuff that makes you high).

Therefore, CBD is blended into health supplements to enhance their benefits and take advantage of the nutritional aspects of Cannabis without the psychoactive affects. As a result, these products are used by people with a variety of ailments including insomnia, seizures, pain and aches.

A lot of countries have authorized buying and selling CBD, while others have gone a step further and made the use of medically-graded Cannabis legal.

At the time of this writing, Lifocity currently markets two product lines named Envoi and Durt.

Envoi is a range of hemp products containing CBD. You can choose from three different products:

Are Their Products Effective?

All CBD products and the claims made on their marketing material need to tested and authorized by the Food and Drug Authority (FDA). If the company’s claims are not approved then there’s no way of verifying what’s in the ingredients and whether the products actually work.

Lifocity has not made any specific medicinal claims regarding their products, which is at least a positive sign. Nonetheless, I was a bit concerned that I couldn’t source any customer reviews to vouch for their products. Therefore, this could be a result of the following:

Customers that used the products found that they were only slightly effective and didn’t offer any distinct benefits.
Customers that used the products were not satisfied by the results and were not bothered to leave a review online.

Therefore, our only source of reliable information is the existing studies on CBD and its wide range of health advantages.

The company’s compensation plan is quite easy to follow. It’s reassuring to see that Lifocity is primarily encouraging members to focus on retail sales rather than recruitment.

Retail Commissions

The profit that you make from retails sales is the difference between the retail and wholesale price. You will be awarded a discount when buying at wholesale, which works out to be roughly between 15-25% less than retail.

Retailer Bonus

You are awarded a bonus which ranges from 40-50% of the volume of retail sales:

40% to 50% of the sales volume from retail customers that you’ve signed up personally
The team bonuses follow a uni-level structure i.e. 5% for the first level, 10% for the second level and 15% for the third level.

Matching Retail Commission

Members are also awarded a percentage match from the retail commissions made by the initial 3 levels of their team.

10% match on level 1 for Brand Partners on Level 1
10% match on levels 1 and 2 for Brand Partners on Level 2
10% match on levels 1 to 3 for Brand Partners on Level 3 and higher

The drawback with Lifocity’s products is that they’re trying to compete in a very crowded market. You’ll find hundreds of products on eBay, Amazon and other marketplaces selling similar products at a lower cost.

Why would a customer bother talking to a sales person (you) about buying a CBD product that they can find cheaper elsewhere online?

2). Not Authorized In Certain Countries

Although CBD products are legalized in many western countries, products derived from Cannabis are still highly controversial and are still outlawed in some parts of the world. Therefore, your target audience will be limited to specific countries and as such, this will limit your earning potential.

Is Lifocity a Scam or a Genuine Business?

Lifocity is an authentic business that promotes a range of CBD-based supplements and health products. The program’s earning potential is influenced by these factors:

A Crowded Market: There are hundreds of alternative products that can be sourced at a lower cost in marketplaces such as Amazon.
Outlawed in certain countries: CBD products are not legalized in certain countries as a substitute to conventional medicines. This will limit the audience that you can promote CBD supplements to.

Nonetheless, Lifocity offers a good range of incentives for retail sales, which means you don’t necessarily need to create a team. You could generate a consistent income purely from retail sales, however, you will need to invest a lot of capital for this venture to be worthwhile.
