What Is Uhuru Tribe?
Uhuru Tribe is an unethical program currently circulating online. Their marketing is widespread throughout the internet and the company is aggressively recruiting as many members as possible to invest.
Sadly, the group behind this product are preying on people with very little knowledge about cryptocurrencies. The program claims that it can guarantee a large return on investment and that members can make over a million in just a few months. With such hyped-up claims, it won’t take long for this program to snatch a huge amount of money from innocent people with zero returns.
Will Uhuru Tribe give you the promised fortunes so that you can cash out with millions?
The fact that you’ve taken a moment to scrutinize this product before buying it should be applauded. You’ve done yourself a huge favour. Your due diligence will save you from wasting money and time.
A good bit of research always goes a long way in the fight against online scams. Creating a sustainable full-time online business is not difficult. You just need to know where to look.
Before we proceed I’d like to let you know that I’m not linked to Uhuru Tribe in any sort of way and I’m not trying to sell you this product.
Instead, I’d like to show you why Uhuru Tribe is a program that needs to be avoided…

The product is riddled with warning signs that point out it could be a Ponzi scheme, some of these signals are blatant. The company works in a way that is not the same as the other scams that I’ve encountered. Everything that you need to know about Uhuru Tribe will be revealed in today’s review.
Product Rating: 1/100
Would I Recommend This Product? HELL NO!
Uhuru Tribe Explained
The home page doesn’t provide much details about how the product works. We are told that Uhuru Tribe is an MLM company that specializes in cryptocurrency and investments, but nothing more than that.
We could not find any details about the day-to-day operations of the business. There’s hardly any information about the owner, however, there’s a promotional video that discusses the product as an opportunity to skyrocket your earnings. The salesperson presenting the video is called Coenraad “Coenie” Botha. During the video, he logs onto the website using Admin privileges.
Coenie appears to be heavily involved with the program or holds a prominent role within the company. Based on his social media presence he claims to be living in Namibia, although Uhuru Tribe’s banking information points to South Africa. It’s not known where exactly the business is based but it will either be Namibia or South Africa.
What Is A Stokvel?
Their marketing material promotes a Stokvel, but what is this?
Wikipedia defines a Stokvel as:
“an invitation-only club of 12 or more people serving saving schemes or credit unions in South Africa. Members continue to contribute fixed sums of money to a central fund on a monthly or fortnightly basis”.
Wikipedia
This means that a group of people invest money into a cooperation or union for a fixed return on their initial investment. It could be on the pretence of savings, however, it is strictly speaking an investment scheme.
Uhuru Tribe Products
Similar to the other MLM models that I’ve looked at in this niche, Uhuru Tribe does not offer an actual product range or service. Therefore, the only source of profit coming into the company is the membership money!
Does the company place trades to generate profits? Nope. Does it sell any actual products? definitely not.
How Does Uhuru Tribe Work?
The initial version of Uhuru Tribe did not deal with cryptocurrency. The business ran exclusively on the Rand (the South African currency) and set up an MLM structure to reward members with commissions. It then blended together the workings of both a Pyramid Scheme and Ponzi scheme.
Uhuru Tribe’s cryptocurrency program pays out either in Bitcoin or UHC. What is UHC? This is the company’s own version of cryptocurrency called Uhuru Coins. It can only be used inside the program. You have to use real money to obtain these coins.
UHC cannot be used anywhere else outside the program. It is worthless if you try to invest or trade it on different programs.
Where does that leave you?
The sole income stream at Uhuru Tribe is recruiting other members. When members get other people to invest into Uhuru Tribe, that cash is used to pay members at the highest level and the money trickles down until it runs out. Higher-level will always be prioritized and compensated.
The business is operating unethically and the following bogus compliance statement can be found on their website:
The statement is completely false. The commissions are set up using an MLM uni-level repayment structure.
Any company that wishes to handle investments has to be authorized by financial regulators. There’s no evidence that Uhuru Tribe is registered or approved by the regulators.
Therefore, the company will be answerable to securities fraud once they are discovered by the authorities.
Can You Profit with Uhuru Tribe?
The only method you can use to profit with this program is from the recruitment of other members. Your return on investment is solely based on recruiting.
Getting Started with Uhuru Tribe
The cost to join is 2.50 UHC and thereafter, you will pay a monthly fee of 25 UHC. The company states that payment can only be made using Bitcoin to pay for Uhuru Coins.
Uhuru Tribe Compensation Plan
The compensation plan claims to be centered around the investment program. They use this marketing to persuade you that your funds will grow once they’re invested with them.
Uhuru Coins Investment Plans
Your only option to make your first deposit is through Bitcoin, which will then be converted to UHC points. The website does not display the latest exchange rates. Your UHC can be invested in the plans listed below:
- Starter: invest 25 UHC or more and you’ll be rewarded with a daily ROI of 0.28% for 11 weeks.
- Bronze: invest 50 UHC or more and you’ll be rewarded with a daily ROI of 0.32% for 25 weeks.
- Silver: invest 250 UHC or more and you’ll be rewarded with a daily ROI of 0.36% 40 weeks.
- Gold: invest 1000 UHC or more and you’ll be rewarded with a daily ROI of 0.58% for 53 weeks.
No surprise here, but your returns will be paid out in Uhuru Coins.
Residual Commissions
Residual commissions are paid to members using a uni-level compensation structure, therefore, people that are directly recruited by you are positioned at level 1.
Your recruit’s recruits are positioned at level 2 and the structure goes on from there.
You will be awarded a commission for each level based on the percentages listed below:
- 65% commission for level 1 (members that you personally recruited)
- 10% commission for level 2
- 5% commission for level 3
- 4% commission for levels 4 and 5
- 3% commission for levels 6 and 7
- 2% commission for levels 8 to 10

Uhuru Tribe Exposed!
1). It’s a Ponzi Scheme
Sorry folks! Uhuru Tribe is blatantly a Ponzi scheme. It doesn’t take much to see that the only source of money coming into the company is through recruitment. Their compensation plan is worthless.
The company doesn’t own any products or services, therefore, there’s no cash coming in from the retail end.
There’s zero proof of trades being made and as such your money in not being invested. Instead, it’s being distributed to other members higher up the chain.
SEC and FTC have the following guidance to identity these types of scams:
2). Worthless Uhuru Coins
You are being asked to trade valuable Bitcoin cryptocurrency for worthless coins. UHC holds zero value if you take it outside the program and attempt to trade it on the market, whereas, Bitcoin is worth a considerable amount of money and is recognized worldwide.
Therefore, why would you risk trading Bitcoin for a worthless cryptocurrency?

Advantage of Uhuru Tribe
There’s zero benefits about investing with Uhuru Tribe. The product is operating under false pretenses and is clearly a scam targeting innocent people.
Is Uhuru Tribe a Scam or a Genuine Business?
Uhuru Tribe is 100% a Ponzi scheme. The proof is in the compensation plan and many other aspects of the program.
- The company doesn’t actually sell any real products, therefore, the only way it generates profits is through recruiting more members.
- You’re giving up valuable Bitcoin for a worthless UHC cryptocurrency. Whos does this money go to? To the members at the highest tiers and the people running this product.
My advice is, steer clear of Uhuru Tribe! The company is not authorized to handle investments and will be liable for securities fraud when they’re eventually caught out.
