Is Million Money a Scam?

Cash-gifting programs are mostly used by scammers as an easy way to hide pyramid and Ponzi schemes. It’s easy for people to get sucked into these programs because of the appeal of a pay-it-forward system that rewards members (supposedly).

Surely the risk of getting scammed is minimal if you’re getting gifted cash every time you invest into the program, right?

The truth is that the mechanics of this business are flawed. The earnings promised by the program are not guaranteed even for the members at the lowest tiers. The only people benefiting are those right at the top i.e. a maximum of 20 people profiting from hundreds of members.

In today’s review, I’ll be looking into an MLM business named Million Money, which specializes in cash-gifting and utilizes cryptocurrency as it’s primary source of rewards.

The fact that you’ve taken a moment to scrutinize this product before signing up should be applauded. You’ve done yourself a huge favour. Your due diligence will save you from potentially wasting your time and money.

A good bit of research always goes a long way in the fight against online scams. Creating a sustainable full-time online business is not difficult. You just need to know where to look.

Before we proceed I’d like to let you know that I’m not linked to Million Money in any sort of way and I’m not trying to sell you this product.

Instead, I’d like to demonstrate whether this program provides a good source of income or if it opens up a million ways to get scammed…

Million Money Explained

If you’ve been researching online income opportunities for a while, you will notice that businesses that are named with buzz words like “easy”, “million”, “cash”, “money” are generally scams not worth your time. I’ve researched a lot of these companies and sadly, most of them were scams, pyramid schemes or Ponzi schemes.

Million-Money-Review-Home-Page

Million Money offers a chance to earn cash through their cryptocurrency MLM product. The company focuses on the ETH (Ethereum) currency. However, the program itself is not an investment product.

Instead, the company uses a multi-level marketing cycler which needs topping up with members before a commission is awarded. I’ll go into more details further down.

A search for the company’s founder or its location yielded no results. It looks like the people behind this product don’t want to be found. There are no details about the owners on their website or online.

An additional search on WhoIs to find out the domain’s owner came back with nothing.

The only information that I found was that the domain was registered anonymously in August 2018, therefore, the details cannot be disclosed.

Million Money has gone to great lengths to keep the founders hidden so that they can avoid any backlash of the company’s dodgy dealings.

Million Money Product Range

One of the biggest warning signs is that this MLM company does not provide any retail services or products.

The regulations that oversee MLM businesses state that the company should have a retail service or product to be considered genuine. Membership alone does not qualify as a product or service.

Unfortunately, Million Money offers the opportunity to make money merely through their membership which lets you purchase positions within the compensation plan.

The guidance below is provided by the SEC and FTC regulators. The guidelines highlight the pitfalls of these type of companies:

The SEC guidelines are shown in the illustration below:

Does Million Money Work?

Million Money promotes its program as a cash-gifting system that’s based on a “smart contract” which enables users to quickly generate 1,500 ETH in approximately 3 months with virtually no effort.

There’s nothing unique about this system except that Million Money uses cryptocurrency (Ethereum) compared to the traditional gifting scheme.

Members are awarded with Ethereum every time they recruit another person onto the system. Furthermore, members also get paid ETH whenever their team recruits more members.

However, the business model is flawed! When members stop purchasing more positions, the company’s revenue grinds to a halt.

How To Earn With Million Money

The only method to generate an income through Million Money is to get more people to join the program and benefit from the matrix-based compensation plan.

Otherwise, you can’t earn any other way through this system.

Signing Up with Million Money

Signing up to the program will cost you about 0.03 ETH which equates to USD $10.81 as of this writing. At the very least, you will need to pay this to access the program.

From there, you have to buy up some positions to fulfill the matrices, and this doesn’t come cheap.

To complete a whole matrix will set you back 78.99 ETH which works out to be USD $28,470.37. Yikes!

After that, you can start earning commissions from the positions that you’ve filled up.

Million Money Compensation Plan

The company’s compensation plan is based on a 2×5 matrix as shown below:

Million-Money-Cost-Per-Position-and-Commission

The structure is modelled as follows:

  • 1st Level: You’ll receive 2×0.03 ETH from your downlines whenever you pay 0.03 ETH to your uplines.
  • 2nd Level: You’ll receive 4×0.2 from your downlines whenever you pay 0.05 ETH your uplines.
  • 3rd Level: You’ll receive receive 8×0.8 ETH from your downlines whenever you pay 0.1 ETH to your uplines.
  • 4th Level: You’ll receive 16×0.4 ETH from your downlines whenever you pay 0.4 ETH to your uplines.
  • 5th Level: You’ll receive 32×1 ETH from your downlines whenever you pay 1 ETH to your uplines.

Once you get to level 5 of the 1st matrix, you can get started on the 2nd matrix, which awards you with the commissions listed below:

  • 1st Level: You’ll receive 4×2.5 ETH from your downlines whenever you pay 2.5 ETH to your uplines.
  • 2nd Level: You’ll receive 4×5 from your downlines whenever you pay 5 ETH to your uplines.
  • 3rd Level: You’ll receive 8×10 ETH from your downlines whenever you pay 10 ETH to your uplines.
  • 4th Level: You’ll receive 16×20 ETH from your downlines whenever you pay 20 ETH to your uplines.
  • 5th Level: You’ll receive 32×40 ETH from your downlines whenever you pay 40 ETH to your uplines.

According to the sales pitch, members can make a net profit of 1665.4 ETH in just over 3 months which equates to USD $600,260 as of this writing.

Million Money Exposed!

1). The Warning Signs of a Ponzi Scheme!

Million Money classes itself as an MLM business, therefore, at the very least, it should offer retail products or services as per the guidelines from regulators, but it doesn’t. This is a big warning sign that you are dealing with a Ponzi scheme.

This is not crowdfunding program as we are led to believe. The platform is based on system where members donate money to the higher tiers and in turn, expect to receive donations from the lower tiers. That is not a legitimate way to earn money!

The FTC guide clearly states that a program or company that earns revenue solely from recruitment and does not offer a service or product is unlawful.

2). The Owner is Anonymous

Why can’t we find any details about the owner/s? The people behind this program are elusive because they don’t want to be held accountable for the inevitable backlash that results when the company collapses.

3). Fake Number of Participants

As of this moment, the program’s homepage claims that there’s currently over 75K active members and a total of 7540 ETH or USD $2,717,642 paid to members so far.

However, the above figures are completely fake.

Advantages of Million Money?

Million Money is a worthless program and as such, comes with no benefits. This program is definitely a scam and I’ve exposed the truth behind their supposedly lucrative compensation plan.

This product gives cryptocurrency a bad name!

Is Million Money a Scam or a Genuine Business?

Million Money is 100% a scam. The earnings are hyped up to attract new members to a seemingly good product when the truth is that there’s nothing to gain from this product.

  • The motivation for members to generate profits is to recruit more members. This is the foundation of a Ponzi scheme.
  • The owners have taken steps to stay hidden so that they are not liable for their illegal activities.
  • The revenue paid out to members and the number of active members is all falsified. It’s nothing more than a ploy to make you believe that thousands of people are already profiting from the program.

My advice is to stay as far from Million Money as possible.

How Do I Use The Internet to Make a Full-Time Salary?
