Is GainBTT A Scam?
Despite the fact that popular cryptocurrencies are thriving in the very volatile cryptocurrency market, it is also crucial to remember that in order to avoid losing money in your digital wallets, you as a crypto investor should be aware of the many different crypto Ponzi schemes that are popping up every now and then.
The thing is, there is a multitude of crypto Ponzi schemes floating around the internet these days. They promise you a lot of things in order to drown out their real intentions and distract you from the fact that they’re nothing but a scam.
The most typical of these promises are passive income, impossibly large returns on your investments, and with so very little effort on your part. All of this just sounds too good to be true.
But in reality, they’ll never keep any of these promises and claims. They’ll try to entice as many victims as possible and milk your money as much as they can before eventually shutting down.
And after a while, another Ponzi scheme will emerge to take its place. Most likely run by the same people behind the old one. Then the cycle repeats itself.

With that said, this is why reviews like mine exist. To help people steer clear of these scams. So for today, let’s take a look at GainBTT, a crypto Ponzi scheme that ticks all the boxes of everything I just said above.
The fact that you’ve taken a moment to scrutinize this product before signing up should be applauded. You’ve done yourself a huge favor. Your due diligence will save you from potentially wasting your time and money.
A good bit of research always goes a long way in the fight against online scams. Creating a sustainable full-time online business is not difficult. You just need to know where to look.
Before we proceed I’d like to let you know that I’m not linked to GainBTT in any sort of way and I’m not trying to sell you this product.

GainBTT Background

GainBTT is a cryptocurrency investment scheme that pretends to be an MLM company without being straightforward about it. Furthermore, their landing page has no relevant information about who operates the firm or who owns it.
And, as usual, if an MLM company isn’t transparent about who runs or controls it, think twice before joining and investing any money in them.
They even secured a UK incorporation under the name GainBTT LTD to make themselves appear more legitimate, but don’t be fooled. This has no actual influence on how legitimate their firm is.
To put it into perspective, UK incorporation is pointless since it is inexpensive and unregulated. People can readily obtain it without having to answer several questions. As a result, many scammers employ this to make themselves appear “legit” to people who don’t know any better.
In addition to that, according to Alexa rankings, India is the main source of traffic for GainBTT, with Sri Lanka coming in second.
It’s probably fair to presume that GainBTT is based in either of these countries or maybe somewhere near it. However, I do believe that they could be based in Inside since they use Crore. This is an Indian currency denomination that is also used by other neighboring countries.
GainBTT Product Line
GainBTT does not provide any retail items or services. They only provide you with access to their earning opportunities if you invest and recruit people into the program.
How Does GainBTT Work?

GainBTT is a typical Ponzi scheme that targets the cryptocurrency market. As I’ve said previously, many scammers do this kind of scheme and it’s nothing new at this point.
They get members to enroll and invest in their BitTorrent tokens, with guaranteed returns. But you already know this is a lie. Sure, you might get some of your investments back but this wouldn’t go on for long. And you’ll end up losing more money than you gain.
Moreover, there is no evidence on their sales page or anywhere else that they earn money from other sources other than recruiting people into the program. So how does this work exactly?
The funds invested by new members are basically utilized to pay off ROI for members in the upper tiers. These revenues flow down to the absolute bottom, provided there is any money left at all.
Once recruitments stop, the money stops as well and the system will eventually collapse and shut down.
This is basically the structure of a pyramid scheme. These kinds of business models are illegal and when the system collapses (and it will), you’re investments will be gone too.
And the people behind these schemes will simply run away with your money, disappear, then start another rehashed version of their scam after a period.
Getting Started with GainBTT
Membership is free, however, you must invest a minimum of 2250 BTT to participate in their income opportunities. Their in-house app is used to make this investment. Keep in mind that there is only one method to profit from GainBTT, and that is through recruiting new members.
GainBTT Compensation Plan
GainBTT affiliates and members invest in BitTorrent Token (BTT) with the expectation of receiving the following returns:
- invest 2250 BTT and earn 225%
- invest 4500 BTT and earn 250%
- invest 9000 BTT and earn 270%
- invest 45,000 BTT and earn 300%
- invest 90,000 BTT and earn 360%
These returns are given on a daily basis, ranging from 1% to 10%, until the caps are achieved. Afterward, reinvestment is required to continue earning after the cap is reached.
On the other hand, GainBTT’s MLM side compensates for affiliate investor recruiting.
Referral Commissions
Affiliates that personally recruit new members receive 25% of the BTT they invest.
Residual Commissions

The residual commissions given out by GainBTT are paid out via a binary compensation system. This kind of structure will place you at the top of your team.
Two new places are created underneath you, named level 1 or first level. When these roles are filled by the members you recruited, two more positions under your first level become available. These new roles constitute your second level. In principle, it can carry on indefinitely as long as roles are filled at every level.
A 2:1 matching ratio is used to pay out the first level residual commission. After that initial run, both binary teams’ matched funds are equal.
Manager Bonus
On top of their residual commissions, GainBTT members with 500 members on both sides of their team get a residual 3% commission rate.
You must recruit members who invest at least 40 SH points every week to become a manager. The awards system will be shown below.

Rewards
When members complete key investment milestones, GainBTT awards them with additional BTT. Invested packages are used to track these, which are denoted as SH points:
- 2250 BTT investment earns you 1 SH point
- 4500 BTT investment earns you 2 SH points
- 9000 BTT investment earns you 4 SH points
- 45,000 BTT investment earns you 20 SH points
- 90,000 BTT investment earns you 40 SH points
On both sides of the team, the reward qualification conditions add up to SH points.
- receive 4 SH points on both sides of the binary team and get 450 BTT
- receive 20 SH points on both sides of the binary team and get 1800 BTT
- receive 40 SH points on both sides of the binary team and get 3600 BTT
- receive 200 SH points on both sides of the binary team and get 18,000 BTT
- receive 400 SH points on both sides of the binary team and get 72,000 BTT
- receive 2000 SH points on both sides of the binary team and get 360,000 BTT
- receive 4000 SH points on both sides of the binary team and get 1,800,000 BTT
- receive 20,000 SH points on both sides of the binary team and get 3,600,000 BTT
- receive 40,000 SH points on both sides of the binary team and get 10,000,000 BTT
- receive 100,000 SH points on both sides of the binary team and get 50,000,000 BTT
GainBTT Ugly Truths Exposed!

#1 It’s A Ponzi Scheme!
The only way to profit from this program is through recruiting, and if that isn’t a sign for a Ponzi scheme, I don’t know what is. The program has no other methods of generating ROI than new member investment.
Furthermore, GainBTT is referred to as Version 2.0 on one of their social media pages. GainBTT is most likely a relaunch of a previously collapsed Ponzi scheme. Keep in mind that Ponzi schemes don’t stay long, and they’re usually identified or shut down within a few months.
#2 Misleading UK Incorporation
Because MLM Ponzi schemes and other fraudulent organizations utilize and abuse UK incorporations, it is rather worthless. It also does not allow enterprises to conduct financial operations and transactions on behalf of their customers.
However, a UK incorporation is one of the most typical MOs used by many Ponzi schemes. They probably think this makes them appear “legitimate” but it does not.
Advantages of GainBTT
Nothing. There are no advantages at all to joining a Ponzi scheme. What’s worse, you could get into serious legal troubles if you are ever caught participating in these illegal activities. I highly suggest that you stay away from this program.
Is GainBTT a Scam or a Legit Program?
