Cowboy Wealth Background

It was a bit difficult to get information on Cowboy Wealth. Apart from other sites reviewing this program, there wasn’t much meaningful information about this organization at all.

Furthermore, its website has no information regarding the company’s origins or why it was founded in the first place. So far, all we know is that this is an MLM program founded by Chris and Cathy Sorensen, a husband and wife team. If you go to their official site, this is literally all the information you will get:

Not to mention, instead of providing a clear step-by-step breakdown of how their company works, their promotional video that I found on Youtube just provides this simple message:

It claims that you can make $500-$2,500 per month part-time or $2,500-$10,000 per month full-time. However, if you try to phone them, you will find that the line is out of service.

Honestly, I’m just curious as to why are they so insistent on keeping their activities and corporate information under wraps if they are as legitimate as they claim to be? When things aren’t clear or transparent, it usually means one thing: we’re dealing with a scam!

Furthermore, they make the most extravagant claims, such as having previously paid out more than $5 billion in commission revenue. To be honest, it’s simply impossible, especially when you visit their site which has shown zero information. If it was true that they have paid out billions of dollars already, why is no one talking about it?

Apart from their unclear marketing, they also claim to show people how to get healthy in “3 key areas”. First off, they say they would “teach folks to become physically fit through improved consumer choices and effective nutrition,” which I believe means they will advise you what items to buy.

Second, according to Cowboy Wealth’s website, they will “teach individuals how to save considerable money on practically everything they buy,” which I believe is merely a way of advising you which goods to buy in order to save more money.

Finally, Financial Wellness is a vital area where Cowboy Wealth offers to assist you. They claim to be able to educate you on how to get out of debt, lower your tax liability, and more. We can only presume this because they didn’t say how they do it.

Because these claims don’t have actual proof or any information on how it works, we can only assume that these are nothing more than false promises.

After digging deeper and doing more research about Cowboy Wealth, here’s what I discovered. Cowboy Wealth appears to be nothing more than a front or a funnel for Melaleuca, another MLM in the Health and Wellness niche. Melaleuca is already a known MLM with items sold through a network.

However, since this is the case, how come Cowboy Wealth insists that they are not an MLM? In fact, the image below is a screenshot of what you will see on their official website.

Personally, I find this really deceptive. Especially if they do manage to lure in people who are thinking they are not joining an MLM company. To me, it just looks like they’re trying to fool people into becoming their downlines so they can earn more commissions.

Who Are Chris and Cathy Sorensen?

Cowboy Wealth was founded by Chris and Cathy Sorensen. They claim to have over 30 years of expertise in the field of entrepreneurship. However, there is no evidence to support this claim, and no additional information about this couple can be found anywhere.

What Is Melaleuca?

melaleuca-background

Melaleuca is a multi-level marketing (MLM) firm that operates in the health and wellness niche. Similar to programs like Herbalife. Basically, you earn money by selling their goods and receiving commissions, and establishing a network of distributors beneath you in which you will earn a portion of their sales.

Unlike illegal pyramid schemes that rely only on recruitments without any actual products or services to sell, Melaleuca is completely legal. In fact, they started 30 years ago in Idaho. All of their goods are aimed at boosting your overall health and well-being, whether it be through health drinks or ecologically friendly cleaning products.

Could Melaleuca or Cowboy Wealth, be the vehicle you need to launch a home-based business? Possibly. However, you can only perform well if you are good at face-to-face selling and don’t mind recruiting your family and friends.

Cowboy Wealth Product Line

Cowboy Wealth doesn’t offer any products themselves but Melaleuca does. Melaleuca’s products range anywhere from home cleaning products, food supplements, personal care, and beauty products to essential oils.

How Does Cowboy Wealth Work?

Cowboy Money claims to offer answers to improve all aspects of life, including health, wealth, the environment, and personal growth, as I stated before in this review.

However, I found the same information on the Melaleuca website. What exactly does this imply? It simply indicates that Cowboy Wealth is posing as a separate entity. In truth, it’s set up to direct you to Melaleuca, where you’ll be able to access items and sales methods.

Essentially, you’ll be lured to join Melaleuca, an MLM company, wherein you can earn money through selling their products or recruiting people.

Getting Started with Cowboy Wealth

If you try to access Cowboy Wealth, you’ll be sent to the Melaleuca website instead. As a result, the true question we should be asking is how to join Melaleuca.

Melaleuca, fortunately, has the answers we’ve been looking for in Cowboy Health. To become a member of an MLM firm, all you have to do is register and purchase one of their items, such as a $70 Shampoo Bottle. Again, it’s important to understand that joining Cowboy Health simply means joining Melaleuca as Chris and Cathy Sorensen’s downline.

Cowboy Wealth Compensation Plan

Unfortunately, like with every MLM I’ve ever seen, Cowboy Wealth/Melaleuca’s compensation scheme is quite confusing. But if you’d like to see the whole thing and try to understand it for yourself, I’ll provide a link to it here. Here’s a summary of what I know:

Cowboy-Wealth-Compensation-Plan

Commissions

Melaleuca offers a variety of commissions as part of its compensation scheme. There’s the Product Introduction Commission, which you’ll earn when a first-time buyer makes a purchase. Additionally, you may earn the Personally Enrolled Customer Commission by arranging a second purchase from a buyer for the month.

You can also obtain the Organization Commission, which is a 7% commission based on your team’s sales. Finally, when you recruit someone to your team, you may earn commissions on the Value Pack and Career Pack.

Bonuses

Aside from commissions, there is also a variety of bonuses available. To begin, you can earn the One-Time Advancement Bonus, which is a reward for rising in rank. Another reward you might obtain is the Leadership Development Bonus. When one of your recruits reaches the Director level, you will receive additional money. There’s also a Leadership Development Bonus and a Car Bonus. However, both perks are a bit difficult to get, and getting both is quite rare.

Cowboy Wealth Ugly Truths Exposed!

#1 Lack Of Transparency

cowboy-wealth-ugly-truths

Cowboy Wealth’s founders were notoriously secretive from the get-go. The main page has no names linked to it. There is no information on the website. And the video is a ruse that reveals nothing about the business.

The major goal of this plan is to direct you to Melaleuca, a multilevel marketing organization. Cowboy Wealth itself has no items or services that can help you better your life in any manner.

At the very least, I’d want to see some type of step-by-step instruction on how to generate money using Melaleuca, or some sort of guide or anything that might assist folks. It would have been preferable if they had been upfront about their affiliation with Melaleuca from the beginning.

Furthermore, the owners of both Cowboy Wealth and Melaleuca keep insisting that they are not an MLM scheme despite all points leading to it. MLMs have a terrible reputation due to aggressive recruiters, yet MLM does not always imply a scam.

In fact, many people are generating a lot of money owing to the legit MLM businesses they’ve developed, and that’s great for them. So it’s a little odd to me why the owner of Melaleuca is attempting to persuade us that Melaleuca is not an MLM when it clearly is.

Again, I believe it all boils down to being open and honest with others about who you are and what you do.

#2 It’s Rare To Find Success In MLMs

The truth is the majority of people that join MLMs wind up paying those at the top and the people at the bottom of the downlines never succeed.

According to statistics, just approximately 2% of those that participate make a profit. Consider that for a moment. Would you participate in a system where just 2% of participants actually gain any profit?

Advantages of Cowboy Wealth

#1 Melaleuca Is A Legitimate MLM Company

Despite Cowboy Wealth having a shady business model, Melaleuca, fortunately, is legit. They have been in the market for 30 years now and they actually have products that people can buy.

Is Cowboy Wealth a Scam or a Legit Program?

Cowboy Wealth isn’t technically a scam, but this program’s creators are blatantly dishonest and lack transparency. Melaleuca, on the other hand, is a legit company. But like with most MLMs, it’s hard to find success in this field.
