What Is FX Farms?

It’s not often that you come across a Forex trading product within the MLM industry, that’s because trading is already profitable as a standalone product. Trading doesn’t need to be bolted onto the compensation plans that we’re used to seeing inside multi-level marketing businesses.

The genuine trading programs that we’ve looked at in previous reviews are based on how much you’re willing to invest and the level of risk that you’re willing to take. Therefore, it would be pointless for these trading platforms to offer a separate MLM compensation plan on top of the existing program.

Therefore, it’s easier to single out Ponzi schemes within the MLM niche that try to conceal themselves as Forex trading programs. In today’s review, we’ll be looking at a platform called FX Farms, a Forex trading system in the MLM sector.

The fact that you’ve taken a moment to scrutinize this product before signing up should be applauded. You’ve done yourself a huge favour. Your due diligence will save you from potentially wasting your time and money.

A good bit of research always goes a long way in the fight against online scams. Creating a sustainable full-time online business is not difficult. You just need to know where to look.

Before we proceed, I’d like to let you know that I’m not linked to FX Farms in any sort of way and I’m not trying to sell you this product.

Instead, I’d like to expose this system and show you what’s really going on behind it…

FX Farms Product Summary

FX Farms claims to be a trading product that specializes in Forex within the MLM industry. It looks like a Ponzi scheme and I’ll explain why. The company is not registered or approved by the FCA or SEC. The business model’s main priority is to recruit more members and there’s no actual service or product on the retail end.

FX Farms Explained

FX Farms is a multi-level marketing product which doesn’t clearly explain how it works. It’s promoted as a platform that gives members passive earnings via Forex and stocks trades.

FX-Farms-Home-Page

The business looks likes it’s based in the United Kingdom as per the details on their home page. But the address provided relates to another company named Regus, a genuine business that specializes in serviced offices, business lounges and conferencing facilities.

Their home page contains a series of promotional videos showcased by a spokesperson who initially appears to be working for the company. However, appearances can be deceiving. The spokesperson has nothing to do with the company (more on this later).

One of the YouTube videos is presented by what we are led to believe is the CEO and CFO of the company, however, we cannot prove the authenticity of this video.

FX Farms Product Range

FX Farms does not provide any actual products or services. The regulators require all MLM businesses to offer a retail product or service to its members or else, they’re merely recruiting people in the same style as a pyramid scheme.

FX-Farms-Product-Claims

In fact, FX Farms is offering nothing more than a membership to gain entry inside its compensation plan to supposedly access their profitable opportunity.

The membership is disguised as an investment scheme, therefore, they make you believe that your money is being invested and profits are passively accumulating.

Does FX Farms Work?

The income opportunity offered by FX Farms is based on securities which are defined as a type of financial instrument such as bonds, stocks and so on.

Their websites claims that the products is internationally certified in the United Kingdom and USA and that their brand is expanding in many countries all over the globe.

The fact that the company markets passive earnings via what they claim to be securities, means that they need to be authorized by the financial regulators i.e. the FCA for the UK and the SEC for the USA.

The company is not authorized or even registered with the above regulators, therefore, are running their operations illegally. This is considered to be securities fraud!

The company would also need to be registered by the regulators because of the earnings they claim to offer. Members can supposedly make a return of 2.45% compounding interest each day. It sounds like a trivial amount of profit, however, with a sizeable investment this could build up into a lucrative sum of money in the long term, with the right product of course.

If the product can really return 2.45% interest then why does the company offer investments of just $25? That’s a tiny sum of money if you want to make a decent return from trading. Genuine products generally ask for investments of at least $250 – $500.

There’s zero evidence that the company is trading Forex to earn revenues for its members and sustain the business.

The only way that members are earning profits is through the fresh investments from the new recruits. Therefore, the money being injected into the business by the new members is then distributed to the top-ranking members and cascades down the chain until it runs out.

Can You Profit with FX Farms?

How do you profit with FX Farms? What you need to do is recruit more members to sign up and convince them that their money is being invested into Forex when in fact, it’s not. Very ethical, huh?

In the next section, we’ll go through the compensation plan which will show you how the entire process works.

Getting Started with FX Farms

FX Farms requires you to invest at least $25 to access their compensation plan.

What Does The Compensation Plan Look Like?

FX Farms assures members a return on their investments based on the figures below:

  • Base: Earn 1.5% per day for 140 days if you invest between $25 – $1,500
  • Trader: Earn 1.65% per day for 150 days if you invest between invest $1501 – $10,000
  • Lead: Earn 1.85% per day for 170 days if you invest between invest $10,001 to $25,000
  • Eagle: Earn 2.1% per day for 185 days if you invest between invest $25,100 to $55,000
  • President: Earn 2.45% per day for 205 days if you invest between invest $55,500 or more

Direct Referral Commissions

A referral commission can also be earned from the money invested by direct recruits. The commissions are calculated according to your tier as follows:

  • Base to Lead tier: You will earn a referral commission rate of 5%
  • Eagle tier: You will earn a referral commission rate of 6%
  • President tier: You will earn a referral commission rate of 7%

Residual Commissions

The company also offers a residual commission through their binary compensation model. Members are positioned on either side of you and are referred as your right and left leg. This is your 1st level.

2 additional positions are placed on both legs at the 2nd level, and these will be your recruit’s 1st level.

The model then expands following the above structure.

You will be rewarded with a commission for each new position. You should also know that less commission is awarded for the lower levels.

FX Farms Exposed!

1). Hired Actors

Why I’m I not surprised that FX Farms has hired some actors to present their sales videos. Nowadays, freelance actors can be hired by unscrupulous companies for a small cost from a content marketplace named Fiverr. These actors can pretend to be anything you want, from successful customers to company owners.

FX-Farms-Spokesperson-But-Actually-An-Actor

The above image clearly shows that the spokesperson on the FX Farms business presentation is an actor from Fiverr. A snapshot of his Fiverr profile shows that he can be hired to present a professional video, in other words, he can pretend to be a CEO or founder of the business.

This in itself is a big warning sign. Would you be comfortable investing your money into a business that uses such underhanded tactics?

2). Let’s Talk About Securities Fraud

FX Farms is NOT authorised by the financial regulators to handle investments, therefore, they could be liable for securities fraud. As a member, you can also be held accountable because you’re promoting the program. Yikes!

You might remember an infamous case about a business named OneCoin, where the company was shut down for fraud. The owners and promoters are now serving time in jail.

3). It’s Blatantly a Ponzi Scheme!

The SEC and FTC regulators clearly state that an MLM company needs to offer its members a product or service. If not, then it’s highly likely that the program is a Ponzi scheme.

SEC-Guidelines

You can refer to the above guideline from the SEC which helps you to quickly spot a Pyramid scheme.

Advantages of FX Farms

Unfortunately, there’s nothing good about this program. If you value your hard-earned money then I’d highly recommend steering clear of FX Farms.

Is FX Farms a Scam or a Genuine Business?

FX Farms is riddled with all the warning signals that it’s a Ponzi scheme.

  • The details about the founders or senior management are kept secret so that they are not accountable for any wrong-doings.
  • The company has also hired some actors to pose as spokespeople and promote the product on the premise that they are either successful customers or the company owners.
  • We are never provided with evidence that profits are generated beyond the investments from new members. There’s also no evidence that Forex trades are being placed by the company.
  • The company is liable for securities fraud because they are not authorised by the regulators to invest money.

My advice is to ditch FX Farms and don’t look back.
