They just instruct participants to share a referral link to their social media profiles in exchange for impossibly large sums of money.
What’s more, is that they’re not the only ones running this kind of scheme. Other sites like ShareCash and KashTree, plus plenty more other sites claim to be the “#1 influencer network” on the internet. So who’s really telling the truth? Who really is the #1 influencer network? I know one thing for sure. It’s definitely not OGTask.

OGTask Background
OGTask advertises itself as a paid influencer program that offers to pay you $100 today and more if you participate in and complete basic tasks like filling out surveys, downloading applications, and sharing your referral link with others.
A signup incentive is included in the program to entice you to join, while referrals will earn you a lot of money in this program. The incentive normally ranges from $15 and $25, with the majority opting for the $25 bonus.
In reality, OGTask, much like every other influencer network scheme, is nothing more than a data harvesting scam that you need to stay away from. The application is essentially fishing for your personal information, and the tasks provided are actually a means of extracting additional information from you.
Worst case scenario, they obtain your login credentials like your username, email, and password, which will put you in danger of being hacked. Furthermore, the people behind these kinds of sites can also sell your personal information to other scammers or spammers.
Doing the tasks specified on the site will make it seem like you’re being rewarded the promised amount. The balance you accumulated will even appear in your member’s tab.
However, when you want to pay out, though, you’ll be required to perform another series of tasks to prove to the system that you’re not a bot. You’ll be prompted to do this because OGTask wants to make sure you’re not simply spamming their signups for the sake of earning money fast.
Additionally, you’ll also be required to complete a certain number of referral signups and referral link hits, as well as to promote OGTask on social media. After that, you’ll be asked to create a YouTube video about them. They’ll provide you with the title and description to make things easier for you too.
Such a long list of things to do just to claim your money, right? It doesn’t end there, unfortunately.
After doing all these grueling tasks, OGTask will also make it seem like they’re paying you to complete these activities. So naturally, your account balance will also increase after each finished task. However, on your next try to pay out, OGTask will block your attempt and send you an email from their customer service team.
The email will state that they discovered suspicious behavior on the tasks you’ve done for them and have decided to take your money. This is also the only time they’ll get in touch with you. After this, you won’t hear from them again. Even if you try to dispute their claims, you won’t get a single response from them.
So at the end of the day, after doing all those tasks, OGTask has no plans of actually paying you for participating in their site’s activities.

OGTask has no products to promote. They only claim that they will pay you if you participate and complete the tasks specified on their website.
How Does OGTask Work?
OGTask is nothing but a fake rewards site that has nothing to do with how a true social influencer network operates. Genuine social influencer networks charge a monthly subscription in order to get access to companies looking to recruit legitimate social media influencers.
Furthermore, in order to be a social media influencer, you need a target audience and a niche that will match the demographic you’re eyeing. Your objective isn’t just to spread and spam referral links on every major social media site. I promise you, there is no faster way to get your account suspended than doing this.
Moreover, the site’s operation is similar to that of a traditional rewards site or GPT site, where you are paid for accomplishing specific activities.
The following tasks are the activities that OGTask claims they’ll pay you for:
- US$25 just for signing up.
- US$2 – per click on your referral link.
- US$10 to US$15 for every successful referral.
- US$50 for uploading a video promoting them on YouTube.
However, there are a few but very significant telltale signals that this is a bogus rewards site, the most obvious of which is that nobody pays you merely for generating hits on a link or for uploading videos to YouTube.
The amounts they promise to pay you are also huge red flags. No rewards site will pay you anything close to what they say. Usually, legitimate GPT sites pay you about 30 to 50 cents for every referral, plus, maybe a $5 signup incentive. The majority of tasks also pay a dollar or less to complete.
If you’re not new to using GPT sites, then you know that most people get paid pennies for every activity they accomplish.
Getting Started with OGTask
Signing up for OGTask is completely free and they even entice you further by offering a signup bonus of $25. After that, you can proceed to participate in the tasks provided by their website.
OGTask also claims they will pay you via:
- Check.
- Paypal.
- BitCoin.
- CashApp.
But OGTask has no actual intention of paying the amount you earned from completing their activities.

OGTask Ugly Truths Exposed!
#1 Everything About This Site Is FAKE!
From their fake launch date, their fake testimonies, and fake media awards, all of the claims OGTask has made on their site are false and simply don’t add up.
As you can see below, they claim that they started back in 2015. However, a simple search on WhoIs will tell you that they have only been registered since 2020.
IN addition to that, they also claimed that they were named the “#1 Influencer Network” by Forbes. But that is not true at all and Forbes has never made any such claims either.
On top of that, they also share the same website template and even testimonies from another influencer network scam called ShareCash. I wouldn’t be surprised if it turns out that the people behind these schemes are the same.
#2 You Don’t Actually Get Paid For Anything
If you’re looking to earn money from this site, then prepare to be disappointed. Despite the screenshots on the homepage that they use as payment proofs, they are not real payments and are just fake testimonies. As you can see on the image below, they can’t even be bothered to proofread if they spelled “testimonials” correctly.
Aside from that, no additional evidence of payment can be found anywhere else on the internet. Members who promote it on social media are most likely looking for referrals in order to cash out their funds. but you already know OGTask doesn’t pay a cent to their members. The lack of proof indicates that people do not actually receive their money.
#3 No Information Regarding The Owners
If the evidence shown above isn’t enough to persuade you that this site is a scam, perhaps knowing that we have no idea who the site’s owner is would help you see the obvious red flags. In fact, they refuse to provide us with any contact information at all.
Lack of contact information is a classic scam warning sign, and they probably don’t want you to know who owns the site or any other information about them. In addition, there is also no actual customer service. They provide us with an email address, but they do not respond to any of your messages.
Advantages of OGTask
None at all! I don’t see how you can benefit from scams like these that do nothing but steal your personal information to either hack you or sell your data to other scammers. This is not worth your time and you’re better off looking for other means of earning a legitimate income online.
Is OGTask a Scam or a Legit Program?
OGTask is just another influencer scam that claims to pay you hundreds of dollars each day for participating in activities on their website. These kinds of tasks are similar to those found on other reputable paid survey and GPT sites.
Moreover, OGTask is also a copy of other scams that go by other names, such as ShareCash. When websites like these get exposed for their schemes, they just shut down with no further explanation. Then after some time, new sites with the same MO will appear under different domain names. So it’s best to just stay away from these sites and protect your personal data.
