WiredBucks Explained

WiredBucks professes to be the leading influencer network. According to their marketing, you can earn $200 from the moment that you sign up, and every day after that.

WiredBucks-Home-Page

Could it be that you can make as much as $200 per day if you complete the tasks and all the requests you are asked to do?

To sweeten the deal, WiredBucks claims that they will reward you with a $25 bonus to join their program. This bonus will appear on your profile’s dashboard as soon as you log in.

I’ve seen this scenario one too many times and I know how this story ends because I’ve reviewed several influencer scams that are identical to WiredBucks, as listed below-

WiredBucks’ business model is exactly the same as the above programs and I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s part of the same network.

Exploring WiredBucks

WiredBucks states that you can supposedly start earning cash as soon as you’ve signed up for free.

The $25 bonus is credited to your profile after you’ve registered with the program. From there, you will need to perform a series of tasks as described in the next few sections:

Earning Cash With WiredBucks

Apparently, the program’s priority is to generate money for its members (you). You’ll be completing tasks that are commonly found on authentic “Get Paid To” platforms.

The 3 main areas you’ll be focusing on are:

  • Completing the Task Wall
  • Participating in the Referral program
  • YouTube Videos

You can potentially earn at least $30 for finishing tasks on the task wall. However, these are nothing more than paid offers that require your credit card and personal details.

You’re even offered an additional $30 and a brand new phone to hand over your credit card details. Does this sound too good to be true? It does because it is.

Their referral program would actually be awesome if it was legitimate. Apparently, each referral link click earns you $2 and an extra $10 for each member that signs up via your links.

The program also promises to pay you $50 for videos that you upload to YouTube and social media posts.

Unfortunately, this is merely a way to entice you and your friends to give them your personal details.

Are You Ready To Cash Out?

What about if you join the program and try to withdraw the $25 signup bonus straight away? They stop you from cashing out.

Before you can cash out you will need to do the following:

  • Submit a minimum of 1 YouTube video
  • Achieve a minimum amount of referral clicks
  • Achieve a minimum amount of referral signups
  • Finish a specific amount of tasks from the Task Wall.

You’ll accrue a balance of around $300 or more after you’ve worked through the above tasks, as well as the $25 joining bonus.

If you attempt to cash out at this stage, you will meet the full force of the scam. Your profile is blocked immediately, and the company will not respond to any of your communications. Meanwhile, they would have obtained your personal and credit card details.

If you manage to contact the support team, you’ll be told that your account has been blacklisted for performing unlawful activities. According to them, your signups and referral clicks were falsified. Don’t you think it’s ironic that the scammers are calling you a scammer?

Why Is WiredBucks a Falsehood?

WiredBucks falls short of it promises, that it can help you earn $200 per day. Their business model doesn’t stack up.

The goal of this program is to obtain your personal details and sell them on. Furthermore, the task wall is full of tasks from affiliated companies. So, not only are they stealing your information, but they are getting paid whenever you sign up to offers via their links.

Let’s Do The Math

According to WiredBucks, their revenue is from “sponsorship products & ad-spend revenue”.

At this moment in time, the program claims to have paid out over $410,000,000. That’s a heck of a lot of money and I find it hard to believe that WiredBucks has paid out nearly half a billion to members, for completing a few basic tasks. Where’s the proof?

Here’s how it really works.

Genuine survey companies and “Get Paid To” sites pay members a commission, which is a percentage of the total amount received from their clients. Let’s run through a scenario…

Lets suppose that a client pays $2,000 for their surveys to be done by 1,000 people. Would WiredBucks hand over the whole amount to you and the rest of the members? Absolutely not!

Online-survey-tasks

Based on industry standards, genuine survey sites will allocate a maximum of 30% of the total amount to its members. In this scenario, it would be $600 split between 2,000 people. Therefore, each member will be paid 30 cents for taking the survey. That’s what you can typically expect to earn from a genuine survey, and that’s at the top end.

As such, if they’ve really paid $410,000,000 to members, we’ll assume that this is 30% of the total payment. Therefore, the total revenue for that is $1.36 billion! According to them, 30% of that amount has been paid to members, and they’ve retained the remaining 70%.

I find it hard to believe that they are clients out there paying hundreds of millions, to get basic surveys and tasks done on their behalf.

Is WiredBucks The Right Product For You?

WiredBucks is a data-harvesting scam which also makes money from you when you sign up to offers from their affiliated companies. Avoid it!

WiredBucks Exposed!

1). Harvesting Personal Information

These scams are part of the same network designed to collect your personal data. Their primary objective is to gather this data and preferably your credit card details so that they can sell them on to unscrupulous companies.

Data is worth a lot of money, especially if it’s sold on to shady marketing firms.

2.) False Address

According to the company, their address is A108 Adam Street New York, NY 535022. Guess what? This is NOT their address.

WiredBucks-Fake-Address

Several companies operate at that location, but none of them relates to WiredBucks. Furthermore, the zip code listed on their website is 6 digits when it should only be 5.

3) False Testimonials

The members featured on their website, giving testimonials, are all false. The images are nothing more than stock photos of royalty-free images.

WiredBucks-Fake-Testimonials

The image used for the above testimonial has been featured on various websites. This just goes to show that the testimonials are fake.

4). False Proof of Payment

The program provides snapshots of cash paid out to members in an attempt to provide proof of payment, but these are nothing more than images that have been copied and pasted from similar scams within the same network.

Take a look at the above images and make your own conclusions.

5) Copy Cat Scam

To date, they are more than 30 scams identical to WiredBucks, and that list is growing bigger by the day. These scams are probably being operated by the same gang.

These sites generally have a short shelf life. Once exposed, they simply rebrand to a different name and restart the cycle.

Advantages of WiredBucks

There’s nothing good about this program. It’s designed to steal your personal data.

Is WiredBucks a Scam or a Legit Business?

WiredBucks is definitely a scam, and I’ve exposed all of the red flags. It’s simply the latest iteration of earlier influencer scams, which I’ve encountered in the past few months.

  • This program is a falsehood. Their advertised earnings, evidence of payouts and customer testimonials are all fake.
  • If the company ignores your communications and you decide to write a letter of complaint, it will be returned to sender because their address does not exist.
  • The main goal of this program is to grab your personal data, and hopefully your credit card details, to sell them on.

I’d recommend forgetting about this program, it will cost you your time and data!
