Is Binary Boom a Scam?
Earlier this week I came across an interesting system called Binary Boom by a Forex trader named Denis Anker. Why did I find it interesting? because he had a fascinating prop to describe his system (a white stick!) So is Binary Boom a scam? Let’s find out.

Firstly let’s talk about that white stick. Denis builds up his story by continuously referring back to his stick which is meant to show us an angle of Binary trading that we never knew about. So I’m getting excited, but not because I think Denis is my gateway to the millionaire mansion but to see how entertaining his guy’s BS will be over all the others (A great perk of this job).
Anyway back to the stick.
It’s nothing more than a prop used to demonstrate an upward price trend. Denis does this by sloping the stick upward. And it takes him more than half an hour to get round to this point.
Really?
Binary Boom’s Two-Pronged Approach
How does the system work? Apparently, Binary Boom simultaneously uses 2 methods to power the software as described below-
(a). A Price Trend: The up/down movement in value of a commodity or currency is usually over a 15-minute window using a foreseeable rising and lowering trend. So in that 15-minute window, a trader could use software to automatically place several trades to buy or sell depending on the direction of the trend. Binary Boom places these trades every sixty seconds.
(b). The One Point Rule: Denis then explains that we only require 1 point above or below the closing price of the commodity/currency to generate us cash depending on whether we placed a ‘call’ or ‘put’. For example, if I call on a commodity to be $25.50 at 4:30 pm, it just has to be at $25.51 for me to make a profit. The reverse is if I place a put instead on the same trade, it just has to be $25.49 at 4:30 pm for me to make a profit.
If you are familiar with trading then you will probably be asking yourself what’s so the difference between the above details and what you already know? The answer is nothing. If you are new to trading then I’ll say to you that the above one point rule is nothing unique. Price movements are the driving force of day trading, but unlike Binary options with day trading, you pay a set fee to the broker which is much lower than the large 25% fee charged by Binary Options brokers IF you win a trade.
Denis has tried to create a fancy term which is merely saying that I need to be 1 cent above or below the closing price, depending on the trade, in order to profit. This principle applies to day trading. You would have probably heard the terms “buying low” and “selling high” to profit. It’s not anything unique.
Denis Want’s To Be Straight Up With Us
Denis puts a great deal of effort in telling us that his system is transparent, unlike other binary options systems that hide how they actually work.
So what’s so unique about Binary Boom? Denis feels like he has done us a big favour by telling us about his system’s two-pronged approach. Price trends are not a secret and neither is his “one-point rule”.
If this is the first time you have heard price trends etc then you’ve learnt something new today and I recommend that you research the concepts of trading before continuing with Binaries.
Denis then further explains that the main reason for making his software available for free is because he wants to be acknowledged for his work in forex trading, binary trading and different markets.
He tells us that he is in the middle of writing a book on trading which should be complete in a few months. He gives us the impression that Binary Boom will be proof to everyone that he is an authority in trading.
So at this point I’m half expecting Denis to provide recommendations from his beta testers that the product is ground-breaking and that it actually works, but we don’t see this at all.
So now I’m wondering how his audience or the trading industry is meant to acknowledge him as an authority without these recommendations?
At no point does Denis tell me that he will be profiting from my trades via the brokers that I would be using his software through.
Let’s Get Down To Business
Let’s put everything that Denis has told us to one side and see how the Binary Boom Software works.
This is the part where you need to be careful NOT to install the software. Why I say this is because the Binary Boom sales page promptly redirected me a download page when I clicked on the purchase button.
I wasn’t sure how safe this software was because none of the security shields could be clicked to verify their authenticity; something that I’ve found to be quite common with scam software.
Here’s where it gets really interesting. If you go to the site agreement section and look at the small print you will find a disclaimer that makes for some interesting reading:
What this statement is saying to me is that if I choose to download Binary Boom and my computer becomes infected with a virus I can’t blame anybody else but myself for NOT reading the above disclaimer and NOT installing adequate anti- virus protection.
As previously suspected, once Binary Boom is downloaded and installed it brings along 2 trojan spyware programs called:
- Virtual Network Bridge Update Protocol
- Virtual Network Bridge
The 2 programs generate adverts on your computer and other devices connected to your network. Sneaky! The scam artists make money from the pop-up ads which are paid for by the advertisers whilst you are left worrying about an infected computer that starts to run slow.
Pros:
- Denis attempts to introduce us to the basics of Binary Trading.
Cons:
- Binary Boom software hides spyware programs that are released onto your computer when the software is installed.
- The Spyware/ adware program will be generating money for it’s owners at your computer’s expense. You will not see a penny of this money.
My Conclusion on Binary Boom
Not only do you NOT make any money from this system but you will be left with an infected computer containing trojan software that can prove to be difficult to remove, whilst Binary Boom is generating money from ad revenues.
You might end up having to pay even more money to have the malicious software professionally removed if it manages to copy itself into other parts of your computer system. Keep away from Binary Boom.
If you have already installed the software to your computer then I advise that you go to your programs list and uninstall Binary Boom and its related Trojan spyware.

Thanks for the review which saved me time of looking into Binary Boom closer. Though it’s unlikely that I would install it anyway. I have never done binary trading, but I do trade forex currencies and have traded some forex robots in the beginning, on demo fortunately. None of them worked and all have been losers after some time. Now I know that trading robots don’t work.
Hey Kristof, 100% agree with you there. I’m yet to come across a trading robot that works. The ones that do work will be closely guarded and accessible by a select few (that’s my theory). For the rest of us, it’s best to steer clear of trading robots and invest time & effort in proven start up methods like wealthy affiliate
thanks for reading, Jay
Jay, thank you so much for looking out for your readers. I am a day trader and there are legitimate software programs available to analysis stocks. The disclaimer you exposed in regards to the spyware and the effect on your computer was a great heads’ up to anyone thinking about downloading the fee software. What a great job in exposing this fraud with your detailed commentary. We need more people like you doing what you do. Keep up your amazing service.
Hi Robert, cheers for reading the binary boom review. These scams need to be stopped- they give us all a bad name. I’d be interested in finding out a bit more about the legit software programs that you use so I can give them a positive review.
Thanks Jay
